To all VFX Artists! For our 23-minute short film, Maternal, we are seeking a team to collaborate on rotoscoping, cleanup, and compositing work.

LOGLINE:

After many years, Patrice returns to her dying mother hoping to claim her inheritance. Her feigned attempt at reconciliation leads to a confrontation with their unresolved past.

We aim to build a team of 3-4 people to ensure a professional workflow and a good distribution of tasks. While some tasks might be handled internally, we prefer to keep the team consistent to avoid confusion and messy workflows.

Timeline & Work Details:

• Ideal deadline: 8th of July (flexible if needed)
• Most of the movie takes place in a single room with repeated angles, allowing reuse of cleanups and composites across multiple shots.
• We have a version of the movie with marked shots to give an impression of the workload.
• The film will be submitted to various international festivals and is in English.
• Codecs used: ARRIRAW, REDRAW, and Blackmagic RAW.
