Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a VFX Artist / 3D Animator for an AI video annotation project. The contractor will remotely annotate robotic activity across North America, Europe, UK, and other regions, focusing on motion analysis, object tracking, and occlusion.

You’ll work with Blender, Maya, Houdini, and other tools to ensure precise labeling of complex scenes. The role emphasizes attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong written communication to deliver accurate, timely annotation batches

Qualifications

• Experience in video annotation or visual QA is a plus.
• Strong ability to interpret motion, timing, and occlusion in footage.
• Comfort with reviewing and labeling robotic activity in video datasets.

Responsibilities

• Review video footage of robotic arms performing real-world tasks.
• Identify and label motion, object interactions, spatial changes, task outcomes, and errors.
• Apply knowledge of animation, timing, trajectories, transforms, and occlusion to interpret footage.
• Use annotation tools to label video content accurately and consistently.
• Identify visual anomalies, tracking issues, and ambiguous events.
• Review annotations and provide quality-control feedback.
• Complete assigned annotation batches accurately and on time.

VFX Artist / 3D Animator (AI Video Annotation)

Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote - North America, Latin America, Europe, UK, and Oceania

We are engaging VFX Artists and 3D Animators to support an AI video annotation project focused on robotic systems. You'll use your expertise in motion, spatial relationships, object tracking, occlusion, and visual analysis to accurately interpret and annotate robotic activity. No prior AI or robotics experience is required.

Scope of Work

• Review video footage of robotic arms performing real-world tasks.
• Identify and label motion, object interactions, spatial changes, task outcomes, and errors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Blender, Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, Nuke, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual analysis skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Video annotation, visual QA, computer vision, AI training, or robotics experience is a plus.
