Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a VFR Medical Pilot in Richmond, TX. You will play a vital role in ensuring safe patient transport under CAMTS guidelines. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 and includes competitive pay along with various bonuses. The ideal candidate must have Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings, meet specific flying experience requirements, and demonstrate strong communication skills. A 7 & 7 work schedule and relocation package are available for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• 2,000 Total Hours flown, including 1,500 Hours in Helicopters.
• 1,000 Hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of Helicopters.
• 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours using Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
• Must meet weight requirement of 235 pounds.
• Pass pre-placement physical exam and drug screening.

Richmond, TX. 7 & 7 schedule (base schedule day of week may vary, schedule changes may be required). Off duty housing available.

Additional Information

Relocation package available with a 2‑year minimum service requirement per CBA if utilized. If an aircraft transition is required, a 1‑year minimum service requirement per CBA applies. Housing is not provided.

Requirements

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
• First Class Medical
• CAMTS Requirement 2,000 Total Hours, 1,500 Hours Helicopter, 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters, 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters, 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
• Candidates must meet 235 pounds body weight
• Strong Communication, Internal and External Customer Service Skills
• Interview and acceptance by customer and management
• Annual Flu Vaccine not required
• Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment), drug screening and background screen.
