Toshiba International Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern, focusing on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to support the Applications Engineering team within Motors & Drives.

The role provides practical experience applying electrical engineering concepts to industrial motor and VFD applications, working with engineers and commercial teams to translate customer requirements into product solutions.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Foundation in electrical circuits, electronics, electric machines, power systems, controls, or power electronics.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Applications Engineers with review of customer specifications and technical documentation.
• Support selection and application of Variable Frequency Drives for industrial motor applications.
• Gather and evaluate application information such as motor characteristics, voltage, load requirements, and customer specs.
• Help prepare technical information and documentation for proposals and quotations.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales to address technical questions.
