Job summary

Kent State University at Trumbull invites applications for a Faculty Non-Tenure Track-9 Mo position in Veterinary Technology. The successful candidate will teach in our AVMA CVTEA-accredited program, across courses and labs, at the Trumbull Campus in Warren, Ohio and other locations.

Responsibilities include preparing syllabi and materials, delivering engaging coursework, evaluating students, and meeting with the Program Director for ongoing teaching development.

Qualifications

• License to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio (DVM or VMD).
• Ability to relate to undergraduate students and communicate effectively.
• DEA registration and TDDD license must be obtained and maintained for the site.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more veterinary technology courses in classroom and/or laboratory settings.
• Prepare syllabi, homework, and handouts; deliver learning activities.
• Evaluate and grade students’ work and maintain attendance records.
• Follow course outlines and collaborate with the Program Director for training and development.
