Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical veterinary experience required.
• CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged.
• Experience assisting with surgery and post-operative care.
• Strong technical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
• Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures
• Providing surgical assistance and post-operative nursing care
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assisting with outpatient treatments and in-house laboratory testing
• Supporting patient flow through admissions and discharges
• Collecting patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records
• Using safe restraint techniques and following standard protocols
• Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas
• Communicating with clients about pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient hospital operations
