The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well in a team. Competitive pay range from $13 to $16 per hour is offered, along with various benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Lifting and carrying patients or equipment up to 25 pounds; and over if assisted.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety techniques with proper PPE.
• Basic math skills for calculating medication dosages.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS Office.
• Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with patient care and treatment.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and perform routine laboratory work.
