Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing.
• At least 1 year of hands-on veterinary experience.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with animal handling and restraint.
• Strong client education skills.
• Positive, team-oriented and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in surgeries and recovery.
• Room patients and prepare exam rooms.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood.
• Run bloodwork and operate laboratory equipment.
• Position and take radiographs (X-ray).
• Educate clients on treatment and prevention.
