Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Summerville is seeking a Surgery Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of veterinary professionals and to mentor staff in advanced surgical nursing. The role emphasizes training, effective communication, and organizational excellence in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $24–$43 per hour, with progression through our competency leveling system and a focus on career development within Mars Veterinary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed veterinary technician (LVT/RVT).
• Demonstrated surgical nursing skills and familiarity with veterinary anesthesia.
• Experience mentoring and leading a team of veterinary professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to surgery staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs and to seek assistance in escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Summerville is looking for a Surgery Veterinary Technician Supervisor with a passion for patient care and the ability to help motivate and engage a team of veterinary professionals!

Pay: $24 - $43 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will…
