* Must be able to work weekends and dayshift with a possible occasional swing shift as determined.

Veterinary Technician Supervisor Pay: $30.22 - $47.30 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.

Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00 Shift Differential

Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates advanced proficiency within their department and maintains related skills and knowledge.
• Spends 75% of time on the floor supervising and assisting staff.
• Creates effective working relationships with hospital leadership to facilitate communication of policies, standards, and performance.
• Coaches staff for strong performance and productivity in medical services.
• Serves as a mentor to lower-level staff, demonstrating positive work habits and clinical skills.
• Facilitates ongoing communication and feedback within the team.
• Implements process improvements to enhance service quality.
• Coaches team members to proactively address patient and client needs, especially in stressful situations.
• Organizes team meetings and training schedules in collaboration with hospital leadership and trainers.
• Identifies workplace conflicts and seeks resolution to foster effective relationships.
• Provides performance feedback to hospital leadership and assists in developing improvement plans.
• Works with hospital leadership to create staffing schedules and assists in recruiting efforts.
• Performs annual reviews of team members.
