VCA Dallas Animal Specialty Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead and mentor a skilled team in a newly built facility. This role emphasizes leadership, anesthesia proficiency, and staff development within a supportive hospital culture.

The position offers full-time hours, a competitive hourly rate up to $35, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified LVT candidates. You will work with four doctors and a dedicated leadership team to maintain high standards of patient care.

Formación

• Experience in veterinary leadership preferred.
• Licensed veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred.
• Strong anesthesia skills and clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage workflow and schedules for the team.
• Lead and mentor technicians within the department.
• Coordinate with hospital management to advance hospital goals.
• Conduct interviews for new hires.
• Support educational development of technicians and skills.
• Schedule and lead team meetings.
• Provide opportunities for hands-on staff training.
• Deliver performance feedback on a quarterly basis.
• Monitor day-to-day activities and engage support staff.
• Maintain and implement protocols; ensure policy adherence.
