Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital in North Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor for our ER/ICU department.

Position: ER/ICU Department Veterinary Technician Supervisor (CVT required)

Pay Range: Dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and competency assessment outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Mentor lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
2. Coach team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs proactively and seek assistance in stressful situations.
3. Collaborate with hospital leadership to organize technician and assistant meetings.
4. Coordinate training schedules for technician staff.
5. Identify workplace conflicts and seek assistance for resolution.
6. Provide feedback to leadership and develop performance improvement plans.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.
