Qualifications

• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs and safely handle dogs and cats.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Must assist doctors, pull vaccines, dispense meds, and place IV catheters.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements and conducting examinations.
• Assist during surgery and provide nursing care.
• Maintain medical records and client communications.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and IV fluids.
• Sterilize equipment and ensure clean, safe patient areas.
• Release patients to owners with proper grooming and discharge instructions.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid veterinary credential (CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT)
