PetVet Care Centers’ Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team, supporting hospital operations and delivering excellent patient care. This role includes examinations, diagnostics, nursing care, and client communication.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative, culture-driven environment that values teamwork and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.
• Preferably with experience in small animal clinic.
• CVT as required by State.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, interviews, reviewing care plans and records, and diagnostic imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications and vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist with examinations and operations by assembling supplies and restraining patients as directed.
• Provide care using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, and equipment usage.
• Maintain medical records by documenting conditions and updates in the database.
