Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our Animal Emergency & Specialty Center team in Parker, CO. The role focuses on hands-on rehabilitation therapies—underwater treadmill, laser, acupuncture, and exercises—supporting doctors and improving mobility and comfort for patients.

Two full-time positions are available with shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:00am-5:00pm. Credentialed technicians earn $25-$35/hr with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of veterinary technician experience in a surgical setting or anesthesia focus role.
• Registered Veterinary Technician, in Colorado, or the ability to become registered upon hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates outpatient care for the rehabilitation doctors and rechecks.
• Prepare, use, and maintain underwater treadmill and other equipment.
• Accurately obtains vitals and relays information to the rehab doctor.
• Assist with radiographs, ultrasounds and anesthesia when needed.
• Perform animal restraint and injections as required.

CVT/RVT/LVT $25 - $35/hr. | Animal Emergency & Specialty Center | Parker, CO

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team and play a key role in providing hands‑on rehabilitation care to our patients. This position supports patients recovering from injury, surgery, and medical conditions through a variety of specialized rehabilitation therapies, including underwater treadmill therapy, acupuncture, e‑stim, therapeutic exercises, and other rehabilitation modalities. The Rehabilitation Technician will work alongside our Rehab doctors and the rehabilitation team to deliver individualized treatment plans and help patients improve their mobility, strength, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Job Description

The Rehabilitation Technician supports the Rehabilitation Doctors with a variety of therapeutic treatments such as acupuncture, laser, underwater treadmill, etc. They facilitate efficient and consistent care for a variety of patients that have chronic or acute injuries. They collaborate with various specialty departments within the hospital to provide physical therapy to the patients in the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates outpatient care for the rehabilitation doctors –consults and rechecks.
• Anticipates patient and doctor needs by preparing for treatments.
• Prepare, use, clean and maintain underwater treadmill, TENS unit and all other equipment as needed.
• Utilizes Ezyvet and Smartflow for documentation in the medical record.
• Accurately obtains vitals and relays accurate information to the rehabilitation doctor.
• Perform and assist with all aspects of animal restraint for exams and procedures.
• Utilizes technician’s skills such as catheter placement and venipuncture.
• Administers medications by performing IV, IM and SubQ injections.
• Assists with all diagnostic work ups to include radiographs, ultrasounds, etc.
• Perform sedation or anesthesia on patients during diagnostics or exams.
• Assist with the post-operative care of orthopedic patients in the hospital.
• Performs treatment of the rehabilitation patients under the direct supervision of the rehabilitation doctor.
• Other duties as directed.
• Works in other areas of the hospital as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• At least ONE YEAR of veterinary technician experience is required in a surgical setting or anesthesia focus role

• Registered Veterinary Technician, in Colorado, or the ability to become registered upon hire.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to multitask and anticipate the department’s needs.

• Excellent communication.

• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience
• Experience using Medical Record and Whiteboard programs in a veterinary setting.
