Join our team as a Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.
When a primary care veterinarian is unavailable and a pet's life is on the line, the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA is where Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland families turn. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 1985, the emergency and critical care team is specially trained in triage and emergency medicine, supported by one of only a few facilities in the Mid‑Atlantic region to offer on‑site MRI and CT scan capabilities. Backed by ten specialty departments and board‑certified specialists across oncology, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, dermatology, cardiology, and rehabilitation, the emergency team has the full depth of the hospital's expertise behind them on every critical case.
