VCA Regional Institute for Veterinary Emergencies and Referral s in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician for our Emergency Department. You will support our 24/7 service with patient care, diagnostics and treatments in a fast-paced hospital.

We value compassionate care, skilled anesthesia monitoring, and accurate medical-recordkeeping, with opportunities for growth in a large veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency veterinary care and critical services is preferred.
• AAHA-accredited emergency hospital environment knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to perform patient-focused care with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, diagnostics and treatments for 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care patients.
• Assist with anesthesia monitoring, surgery prep and procedures.
• Collect samples, perform lab work, and manage medical records.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00/hour, based on experience and skill set. + Shift differential

Schedule: Full-Time, Friday thru Sunday 8pm - 8am

VCA RIVER is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join the team at our AAHA-accredited emergency and specialty animal hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

We are home to a wonderful team of specialists, technicians, and support staff, with services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Physical Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Imaging, and 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care.

About the Role

You will support our 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care service by providing care, diagnostics and treatments for our patients.
