Whether you're monitoring anesthesia, educating pet parents, or jumping in to help with a surprise exotic patient—we've got your back. And yes, we do see the occasional feathered or scaled friend!

What You'll Do:

  • Support veterinarians during exams, surgeries, diagnostics, and medical procedures
  • Confidently restrain and handle dogs, cats, and occasional exotics (experience is a plus!)
  • Conduct patient intakes—vital signs, medical histories, TPR assessments, and more
  • Administer medications (oral, IV, SQ, IM) and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate clients on preventive care, surgical aftercare, and ongoing treatment plans
  • Perform in-house diagnostics: fecals, urinalysis, cytology, bloodwork prep, etc.
  • Assist with dental cleanings, radiology, surgical prep, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with inventory and pharmacy tasks
  • Ensure hospital cleanliness and safety protocols are followed at all times


What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a veterinary assistant or technician role (CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in restraint, anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and client education
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume setting with a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering top-tier care
