What You'll Do:- Support veterinarians during exams, surgeries, diagnostics, and medical procedures
- Confidently restrain and handle dogs, cats, and occasional exotics (experience is a plus!)
- Conduct patient intakes—vital signs, medical histories, TPR assessments, and more
- Administer medications (oral, IV, SQ, IM) and treatments as prescribed
- Educate clients on preventive care, surgical aftercare, and ongoing treatment plans
- Perform in-house diagnostics: fecals, urinalysis, cytology, bloodwork prep, etc.
- Assist with dental cleanings, radiology, surgical prep, and anesthesia monitoring
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with inventory and pharmacy tasks
- Ensure hospital cleanliness and safety protocols are followed at all times
What You Bring:- A minimum of 2 years experience in a veterinary assistant or technician role (CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in restraint, anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, and client education
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume setting with a focus on teamwork
- Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering top-tier care
