Oceanside Animal Hospital in the United States is seeking a friendly veterinary technician to join our urgent care and appointment teams. You’ll assist the DVM in rooms, support treatment, monitor anesthesia, triage cases, and prepare patients for surgery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year veterinary technician experience preferred.

Interested in being part of a unique and supportive team? Want to learn new skills with a knowledgeable and engaged team? Oceanside Animal Hospital is looking for an upbeat, collaborative veterinary technician interested in working on the floor in the urgent care and appointment departments. Duties include supporting the DVM in rooms, supporting the team in treatment, completing technician appointments, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring patients during surgery, cleaning and organizing surgical instruments, post-op monitoring, discharging patients, triaging cases, supporting the urgent care DVM in the room and in the treatment area with record keeping, client education, obtaining and running diagnostic samples, performing treatments and assisting with surgical patients where needed.
