ACCESS San Fernando Valley is seeking a Neurology Veterinary Technician to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing comprehensive care for our patients. Your work will range from hands-on care, facilitating outpatient treatments, performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments.
- Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
- Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years veterinary technician experience, ER/Specialty preferred.
- Enjoy working as a key team member providing high-standard patient care.
- Comfortable caring for dogs, cats, or other animals needing emergency or urgent care.

Compensation: $20 - $33/hour. The actual rate will consider your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
