Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24-hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter all types of cases when working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country. We have numerous specialty departments, and a tech's day could involve working with a Macaw with a broken beak, assisting in advanced operating rooms, observing orthopedic surgeries, or operating an MRI. We are a high-paced, renowned animal hospital suited for those passionate about caring for sick or injured animals.

Provide your best care with more bridges and less barriers

As a neurology veterinary technician, you will play a crucial role in our neurology department, assisting in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. You will collaborate with neurologists and veterinary specialists to provide exceptional medical support and ensure the highest standards of care.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Assist with MRI, CT scans, spinal taps, and EEGs.
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and treatment options.
  • Maintain comprehensive medical records and relevant health histories.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
  • Guide, mentor, and support team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of veterinary assisting/technician experience.
  • Desire to offer superior patient care.
  • Positive work attitude.
  • Flexible schedule.

Compensation:

Non-Credentialed Assistants: $21/hr - $30/hr

Licensed Technicians: $25/hr - $38/hr

VTS: $40/hr

Pay is determined by skills assessment.
