Veterinary Technician - Neurology

We are looking for a skilled veterinary technician to join our growing team! This position offers the opportunity to work alongside renowned veterinarians and contribute to cutting-edge patient care.

Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24-hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter all types of cases when working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country. We have numerous specialty departments, and a tech's day could involve anything from a Macaw with a broken beak to operating an MRI. Our environment is fast-paced and diverse, ideal for those passionate about caring for sick or injured animals.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist with MRI's, CT scans, spinal taps, and EEG's.
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist in hospital functions to maximize productivity.
  • Use safe restraining techniques and uphold cleanliness and organization in all treatment areas.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements
  • At least 3 years of veterinary assisting/technician experience.
  • Desire to provide superior patient care.
  • Positive attitude and flexible schedule.

Compensation

Non-Credentialed Assistants: $21/hr - $30/hr
Licensed Technicians: $25/hr - $38/hr
VTS: $40/hr
Pay is determined by skills assessment.
