Job summary

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care in Apollo Beach, FL, seeks a Veterinary Technician-Mobile to join our mobile practice. You will drive to client homes, support the veterinarian with patient care, sample collection, medications, and record-keeping while applying Fear Free handling.

The role requires a licensed technician with 3+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent communication. We offer a 4-day work week and strong operations support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant with strong clinical skills.
• 3+ years of experience in veterinary care.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Commitment to Fear Free techniques and patient-focused care.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the mobile veterinary vehicle to and from client homes.
• Assist the veterinarian with patient handling, restraint, diagnostics, and treatment following Fear Free handling principles.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients before, during, and after visits.
• Perform technical duties: collect samples, administer medications, prepare and submit lab work, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Keep the mobile unit clean, organized, and fully stocked for each patient.
• Manage inventory and coordinate restocking with the operations team.
• Support compassionate, individualized care for every patient.

Veterinary Technician-Mobile

Location: Starts in Apollo Beach, FL

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, from 7:30-5:30 for 40 hours per week.
