Job summary

BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care seeks a Relief Veterinary Technician to join our mobile team in Austin, TX. This per diem role supports the veterinarian during home visits, driving the mobile unit and handling patients with Fear Free techniques.

Candidates must be licensed or experienced RVT/LVT, bring 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience, a clean driving record, and excellent client communication. Per diem scheduling offers flexible hours and a collaborative operations support structure.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant with strong clinical skills.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Commitment to Fear Free® techniques and patient-focused care.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
