Job summary

Blueskyathomevetcare is looking for a Relief Veterinary Technician (Per Diem) in the Tampa area. This position involves providing exceptional veterinary care in clients' homes, driving a mobile veterinary vehicle, and assisting the veterinarian with patient care while adhering to Fear Free® techniques.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience, be licensed as a Veterinary Technician or have equivalent skills, and possess excellent communication abilities. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary care.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the mobile veterinary vehicle to client homes.
• Assist the veterinarian with patient handling and treatment.
• Communicate clearly with clients during visits.
• Perform technical duties and maintain medical records.
