Pay: $26.00 - $46.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will…

• Demonstratehighly advancedproficiencyas a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate within theirappropriate departmentandmaintainsall related skills and knowledge.

• Createeffective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.

• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistantsregardingdaily operations, patient care, and skill development.

• Serveas a mentor to staff bydemonstratingpositive work habits, effective clinicalskillsand business knowledge.

• Identifyconflicts in the workplace and seekassistancein resolutionin order tocreate effective working relationships.

• Coachstaff to create a culture ofstrong performanceand high productivity.

• Clearly communicate with team members to ensure consistent understanding ofnew ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and impending changes.

• Buildpositive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate an environment ofteamwork.

• Implementprocess improvement initiatives.

• Workwith the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training.

• Document performance-related issues,assessesteam members during annual review, andprovideshospital leadership with recommendations related to performance management and discipline.
