BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Manager with a passion for motivating, engaging, and training a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and progression through our leveling system.

We offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.
*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Examples of shift differentials:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate, maintaining all related skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and met.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource for technicians and assistants.
• Mentor staff by demonstrating positive work habits and effective clinical and business skills.
• Identify and resolve workplace conflicts to foster effective relationships.
• Coach staff to promote high performance and productivity.
• Communicate clearly with team members about new ideas, policies, and changes.
• Build positive relationships across hospital and administration to promote teamwork.
• Implement process improvements.
• Coordinate ongoing training with the Technician Training Manager.
• Document performance issues, conduct annual reviews, and advise hospital leadership on performance management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
