Job summary

University Place Veterinary Hospital seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule with weekends off, and compensation of $28-$32 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint.

• Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house lab work.
• Maintain succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and fellow technicians to support workflow and patient care.

We schedule 30-minute appointments, each doctor has an assigned skilled assistant and/or technician for the day, and our phones are turned off while the doors are locked so the entire team can enjoy lunch onsite or offsite. We also build in additional catch-up time before appointments resume, making it normal to leave on time at the end of the day.

What You'll Do
