VCA Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center of Westbury is actively seeking an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our Internal Medicine team. We operate a 24-hour Emergency/Specialty hospital with advanced diagnostics and continuous opportunities for growth.

Job description

This role has a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Bonus paid at 30 days and has a mandatory 12-month retention period.

VCA Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center of Westbury is growing and to better support the pets and people in our community we are in search of an experienced licensed veterinary technician to be a part of our Internal Medicine team.

Are you interested in obtaining your Veterinary Technician Specialty? We have the ability to support the most advanced cases with cutting-edge technology utilizing our CT, MRI, and hyperbaric oxygen chamber (HBOT). We support full technician skill utilization and are dedicated to provide gold standard medicine and exceptional patient care. Our outstanding medicine is supported by a VTS in (ECC), and a VTS in (SAIM) and we continue to support a hospital culture of growth and development for all levels of technician.

Compensation: $32 – $38 / hour based on skill set, 3 -5 years of experience, and licensure status (LVT, VTS)

Potential Schedule: Full time (4)10 hour shifts, holiday rotation, flexible schedule
