Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is seeking full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our Internal Medicine team in California. The role involves anesthetic monitoring, blood sample handling, radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound assistance, and client education on internal medicine diseases.

Pay ranges include VA $24.00–$35.00/hour and RVT $28.00–$40.00/hour. Minimum 2–3 years in a veterinary hospital is required; RVT preferred. Excellent collaboration and client service skills are essential.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a progressive veterinary hospital setting.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring is required.
• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and radiographic techniques.
• RVT preferred; assistant with 4-5 years experience will be considered.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and community.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; client service focused.

• Accurately take and process multiple types of radiographs.
• Participate in endoscopic procedures, including obtaining biopsy specimens and maintaining equipment.
• Assist during ultrasound procedures.
• Provide client education on internal medicine diseases (e.g., immune mediated diseases, kidney disease, diabetes, Cushing's).

About You:
