Sole Hire is assisting an academic client in Maumee, OH to hire an on-campus Veterinary Technician Instructor. The full-time position focuses on delivering lectures, labs, and clinical sessions to educate the next generation of veterinary professionals.

The instructor will align with curriculum standards, report to the Program Chair or Academic Dean, and support accreditation-driven initiatives. A strong RVT background and teaching commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• RVT License is mandatory.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to professional development and educational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive instruction across all applicable programs.
• Develop and adhere to course outlines, objectives and evaluation methods.
• Maintain organized lesson plans and monitor attendance and retention.
• Grade and return assignments promptly and submit final grades within 48 hours.
• Provide academic assistance during scheduled hours or by appointment.
• Serve as a substitute instructor when needed and advise students on policies.
