Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown, CT is seeking a Veterinary Technician for inpatient nursing on 1st shift (PT). The role requires at least 1 year in a busy hospital, with skills in restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia.
Knowledge of EzyVet and SmartFlow is a plus, CVT license a plus. You will work in a VECCS Level I facility with a collaborative team, opportunities for CE and professional growth, and a supportive work environment.

About You:
We believe veterinary medicine is truly a team sport, and we’re seeking a candidate who shares that mindset. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential in a fast-paced clinical environment, alongside maintaining a high standard of patient care.
We are looking for a Veterinary Technician who is confident with restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia, with at least one year of experience in a busy hospital focused on nursing care. Experience with CPR, EzyVet, and SmartFlow is a plus, but not required.

Anticipated Schedule: This is a part-time position:
Sunday - 6am-4pm
Compensation: Starting at $22.50-$30.00/hour dependent upon experience
