CityVet - Kallison Ranch is seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our team. A Veterinary Technician Assistant will be considered with a minimum of 1-year experience. Compensation is based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to properly and safely restrain animals.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing and movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians by prepping patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, taking x-rays, and collecting lab samples.
• Monitor patients post-op and restrain animals during exams.
• Obtain samples (stool, blood, etc.) for testing and help interpret results.
• Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by the DVM.
• Communicate with clients and provide care instructions per the plan.
• Support Client Service Specialist team when needed.
