Job summary

CityVet is seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our team. A Veterinary Technician Assistant may be considered with a minimum of 1 year of experience. You will help the Veterinarian provide top-notch care and keep the clinic efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years old at hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to restrain animals safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians by preparing patients for surgery and monitoring post-op.
• Obtain samples for testing (stool, blood, etc.).
• Test samples and help interpret results.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia as directed.
• Communicate with clients about care plans.
• Support Client Service Specialist team as needed.
