Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Kirkland, WA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician for our ICU team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, with a starting LVT pay range and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will triage, obtain patient history, initiate CPR when needed, place IVs and central lines, and monitor ventilator cases alongside a skilled team dedicated to advanced medicine for pets.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician required.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Licensed Veterinary Technician for our ICU in Kirkland!

$5,000 Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates!

Schedule: Thursday - Satuday 6 AM - 7 PM

LVT Pay: $26.75 - $51.32/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a n ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.

• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases

• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients

• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
