Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience assisting in direct care of animal patients.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred.
• Experience in teaching environments and mentoring veterinary or veterinary technology students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing support including examinations, diagnostics, anesthesia, treatments, dentistry, and sample submission.
• Deliver anesthesia and dental support; prepare patients and document plans.
• Educate and mentor students by demonstrating clinical skills and providing real-time coaching.
• Assist with client communication; explain procedures and discuss diagnostics and plans.
• Coordinate daily operations: scheduling, patient flow, medical records, and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with clinicians, house officers, students, interns, and staff to support hospital operations.
• Supervise interns, volunteers, and student learners in a structured learning environment.
• Tailor treatment options based on patient needs and client resources.
