Job summary

Animal Care Clinic in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians, perform outpatient treatments, blood draws, IV catheter placements, and maintain medical records. This full-time role features a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule and a requirement to work at least two Saturdays per month.

You will help with surgeries and procedures, ensure patient flow, educate clients, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a veterinary technician preferred.
• 1-2 years of technician/assistant experience required.
• Proficient with venipuncture and injections.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work at least 2 Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality patient care and educate clients.
• Assist with procedures and maintain accurate medical records.
• Help with surgeries and provide post-visit care as directed by clinicians.
• Maintain clean, sterile treatment areas and comfortable patient flow.
• Mentor and support team members as needed.
