Animal Clinic of the Ozarks is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our close-knit, family-like team and support doctors with hands-on patient care across a broad case mix.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), ample training and continuing education opportunities, competitive compensation, and a collaborative atmosphere where team members help one another grow and deliver high-quality veterinary care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials are a plus.
• Strong communication and exceptional client service skills.
• Experience with laboratory sample collection and processing.
• Confidence with radiology and anesthesia monitoring.
• Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and day-to-day veterinary hospital operations.
• Dependable, self-motivated, arrives prepared.
• Openness to constructive feedback and growth.

Responsibilities

• Triaging incoming patients and obtaining accurate patient histories.
• Safely restraining pets using low-stress handling techniques.
• Collecting, processing, and analyzing blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples.
• Performing diagnostic imaging, including positioning and capturing radiographs.
• Assisting with dental radiographs when needed.
• Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients with varying stability.
• Administering medications and treatments as directed.
• Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during procedures.
• Monitoring anesthesia and surgical patients.
• Communicating treatment plans and veterinary recommendations with clients.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting hospital flow.
