Job summary

Rocky Creek Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor practice. The technician will assist during examinations, restrain animals when needed, stock rooms, sterilize tools, and help with anesthesia, radiography, and lab work.

Ideal candidates are professional, dependable, capable of multitasking, compassionate, and able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have current state licensure as Veterinary Technician.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Regular on-site presence required to support patient care and operations.
• ADA compliance and equal opportunity employer statement.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Restrain animals when necessary.
• Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies.
• Sterilize tools and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Perform venipuncture, anesthesia-related tasks, radiography, and laboratory analyses.
• Communicate with clients and update patient records.
