Rocky Creek Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Senior Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital. The role focuses on patient care, client service, and on-site operations.

The ideal candidate will have veterinary or customer service experience, be able to lift 40 lbs, and multitask effectively, with strong communication and teamwork. Some weekend hours and flexible scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate professionalism and dependability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• Prior veterinary or customer service experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians in the care of animals and during initial examinations.
• Restrain animals when necessary and stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies.
• Sterilize tools and ensure equipment is in working order.
• Communicate with clients and update patient files.
