Pasadena Pets Vet Hospital is seeking an Experienced or Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team in Pasadena, CA. This full-time role offers hourly pay from $21 to $23 based on experience, with a schedule that includes Saturdays and varied shifts to meet hospital needs.

You'll work alongside compassionate veterinarians, support high-quality patient care, and participate in continuous education and growth opportunities, including Fear Free techniques and staff wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary technician with hands-on patient care.
• Registered Veterinary Technician credentials welcome.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care and client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, procedures, and patient care.
• Record patient histories and vitals accurately.
• Provide safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint.
• Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples.
• Place IV catheters and assist with fluid therapy.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Assist with laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain detailed patient medical records and communicate with clients.
• Support anesthesia monitoring and post-procedure care.
