Job summary
AmeriVet Veterinary Partners' Bernardsville Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in Bernardsville, New Jersey. You will assist with patient care, rooming, surgical support, blood draws, and imaging, while delivering client education.

Qualifications
- Experienced Veterinary Technician.
- Knowledge of industry tools is a plus.
- Passion for working with animals and their owners.
- Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint.
- Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Saturday shifts are required.
- Electronic medical recording and data entry.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and provide surgical assistance as needed.
- Assist with blood draws and laboratory work.
- Take and position X-rays and ensure proper imaging.
- Educate and communicate with clients about diagnoses and care.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and accurate EMR entries.
