Tiogue Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team in a full‑time, on‑site role in Rhode Island. You will assist veterinarians with exams, anesthesia, lab work, and education for pet owners while maintaining accurate records and a clean clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary clinic experience is required.
• Veterinary Technician certification/licensure preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and basic laboratory procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams and medical procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures.
• Collect and process laboratory samples.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Perform radiographs and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories.
