Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician in Rhode Island or eligible for licensure
• VTNE knowledge and licensing reimbursement considered
• Strong client communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Support patient care through nursing, monitoring, and treatment assistance
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Collect diagnostic samples and assist with laboratory testing
• Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and follow‑up recommendations
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Provide compassionate care to patients from intake through discharge
• Support daily hospital operations and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional care
