Penny Paws Animal Clinic - Richland Hills is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. You'll work alongside a caring DVM team in a modern clinic, delivering attentive, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate brings strong animal handling, client communication, and teamwork skills, with experience in examinations, vaccines, venipuncture, and basic lab work. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Technician or similar role.
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and low-stress handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Restrain pets safely to minimize stress during procedures.
• Take patient histories and vital signs; document medical notes.
• Perform vaccines, venipuncture, and basic lab tasks as directed.
• Support surgical/postoperative care as appropriate.
• Assist with outdoor vaccine clinics when needed.
