The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a veterinary setting, is comfortable assisting with wellness exams, diagnostics, and procedures, and is eager to learn in a collaborative environment that values mentorship and continuing education.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a veterinary hospital environment is preferred.
• Comfort with wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Experience with restraint, lab processes, medications, and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during wellness exams, sick visits, and medical procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and treatment information.
• Provide safe, low-stress patient restraint and handling.
• Monitor patient comfort during visits and procedures.
• Support surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery.
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized and recovering patients.
