WellHaven Pet Health in Washington state is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team. You will assist veterinarians, educate clients, and provide compassionate care across a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of veterinary hospital experience required; ability to work under supervision.
• Strong client communication and medical terminology knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed; monitor vital signs.
• Prepare surgical suites and assist during procedures; monitor anesthesia.
• Educate clients on wellness plans, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical charting and documentation in patient records.
• Ensure proper maintenance of hospital equipment and inventory management.
• Support day-to-day hospital operations and triage calls, scheduling, and admissions/discharges.
