Job summary

Waynesburg Animal Hospital in rural Greene County, Pennsylvania, is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Technician to join our three‑doctor small animal practice. We seek an experienced and/or licensed technician to support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.

Qualifications

Experience and/or current veterinary technician licensure required.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures and surgeries.
Provide attentive nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients.
Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
Assist with medication administration, treatments and monitoring.
Support anesthesia, surgical preparation, monitoring and recovery.
Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic testing.
Maintain accurate medical records and client education.
Keep treatment areas clean, organized and stocked.
Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver high‑quality care.
