Job summary

Lovet Pet Health Care's Westbrook Animal Hospital in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support doctors in medical procedures, including surgery, and to provide compassionate care for patients and clients.

The role involves anesthesia support under supervision, maintaining records in the practice management system, performing diagnostics, vaccines, and routine treatments, and helping with daily hospital duties while upholding our WOW service standard.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician preferred.
• Associate degree in veterinary assisting preferred.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under supervision.
• Provide high-quality care to all patients and effective client communication.
• Manage medical records in the practice management system.
• Perform x-rays, blood draws, vaccines, and catheter placement.
• Set up, break down, and sanitize equipment; maintain hospital cleanliness.
