Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred but not required.
- Experience with veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology.
- Ability to lift, restrain animals and work under pressure.
- Proficiency with veterinary software for patient records.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to ensure patient care.
- Assist with exams, procedures, and surgeries; prep equipment.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, labs, and treatments.
- Monitor anesthesia and vitals during procedures.
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including wound care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories.
